Fast Lane Family Fun Park – Cookeville, Tennessee
Opened 2009
Phase 2, Go-Kart Track, scheduled to open Spring 2010
Developed Master Plan, performed feasibility snapshot study, designed 18-hole miniature golf course with natural rock waterfall, for park that opened in the fall of 2009. Designed 850 foot concession go-kart track with dual pits, with track designed to permit operation in both directions. Future plans call for a 600 foot adult slick road course, a 15,000 s.f. building with indoor attractions, and a bumper boat pond.
Tree Top Family Adventure – Chelsea, Alabama
Opening Spring 2010
Developed Master Plan, performed feasibility study, developed 18,000 s.f. building floor plan concepts, designed 850 foot concession go-kart track with dual pits (track designed to permit operation in both directions), 18 hole handicap accessible miniature golf course with natural rock waterfall and WaterWars.
Golf St. Lazare – St. Lazare, Quebec
This project consists of a 930 foot outdoor electric family road course concession
go-kart track plus a planned 500 foot outdoor
electric “Adult” Slick road course concession go-kart track and 8 boat electric bumper
boat pond.
Green Acres Family Fun Center – San Antonio, Texas
This project consists of an 900 foot family road course concession go-kart track
being added to an existing family entertainment center consisting of a miniature
golf course, arcade building and related elements.
Golf Zone – Downytown, Pennsylvania
This project consists of an 800 foot family road course concession go-kart track,
which is being added to an existing facility that included a golf driving range,
arcade building and 18 hole miniature golf course.
C.J. Barrymore’s – Clinton Township, Michigan
Project consists of a dual pit 930 foot concession road course go-kart track which
was added to an existing facility that consisted of three other go-kart tracks, bumper
boat pond, miniature golf course, multiple WaterWars, sand volleyball indoor and
outdoor driving ranges, arcade, sports bar and related elements.
Qwivals Family Entertainment Center – Victor, Montana
This site opened with an 800 foot family road course concession go-kart track, a
120 foot kiddie track, entertainment gazebo, 18-hole handicapped accessible miniature
golf course, inflatable attractions and a haunted corn maze. A 4300 square foot
office/year around indoor FEC with bumper cars, arcade, snack bar, birthday party
rooms and soft play is scheduled for completion during the summer. Plans for the
future also include a bumper boat pond and WaterWars.
Shakers Family Fun Center - Calgary, Alberta
Project includes an 800 foot family concession go-kart track, an 18-hole miniature
golf course, 8 boat bumper boat pond, Water Wars, a future 370 foot rookie concession
go-kart track, a 12,500 building with laser tag, game room and birthday party room
Lasertron – Amherst, New York
This project is a 1,100 foot outdoor battery powered family road course concession
go-kart track. Pit area designed to permit enclosure in proposed future building
expansion.
Action Territory - Bristol, Wisconsin
Developed Master Plan and designed a 1,300 foot grand-prix road course concession
go-kart track (designed to permit operation in both directions and containing elevation
difference around track of 16 feet). Site planned to incorporate a 5 bay batting
cage, arcade building, snack bar/point of sales/office building, maintenance building,
two game buildings, future bumper boat pond, site grading, drainage, walkways, 142
car parking lot, storm detention and related work. Also testified at town and county
plan commissions and board hearings. Coordinated town, county and state plan reviews
and furnished on-site layout.
Caddie Shak - Donegal, Pennsylvania
Performed feasibility study, developed final design for a 1,100 foot grand-prix road
course concession go-kart track (reversible), a 450 foot Naskart concession go-kart
track, a 220 foot rookie go-kart track (reversible), bumper boat pond, picnic pavilions,
entrance roadway, parking lot and overflow parking. The main grand-prix track is
cut into the side of a hill facing the adjacent highway and contains an 11 foot elevation
change.
Winners Point - St. Peters, Missouri
Designed a 750-foot grand-prix concession go-kart track and entrance for FEC designed
by local architect.
J.B. Duffers Family Entertainment Center - Morris, Illinois
Provided concept and final design for an 18 hole, handicap accessible, adventure
type miniature golf course, a 650 foot grand-prix concession go-kart track (reversible),
free form bumper boat pond, open-ended batting cages, three-on-three basketball courts
and a sand volleyball pit for facility that was originally a driving range. Also
provided planning and zoning testimony and made presentation to city council.
Island Fun Center - Grand Island, New York
Provided concept and final design services for an 850 foot grand-prix concession
go-kart track (reversible), a three bay (dual machine) batting cage and future bumper
boat pond for a small FEC located on 3 1/2 acre site.
That's Entertainment - Itasca, Illinois
Design of an 850 foot grand-prix concession go-kart track located in flood plain.
Part of major FEC designed by others.
Epocas - Ensenada, Mexico
Developed concept and final design for a 425 foot concession go-kart track (reversible)
for existing FEC. Also developed concept plans for modified parking lot, free form
bumper boat pond and nine-hole miniature golf course for future construction on a
very small and congested site.
Golf Park Plus - Hamlin, Pennsylvania
Developed concept and final design for a 1,100 foot grand-prix concession go-kart
track ("The Sidewinder") constructed into the side of a mountain, with elevation
differences of approximately 12 feet, plus concept plans for a future 450 foot hi-banked
oval track and a 200 foot rookie track.
Jerudong Park Competition Go-Kart Track - Brunei
This project consisted of a 2,500 foot competition racing go-kart track designed
to international sanctioning body criteria. Project was enclosed within a regional
type theme park.
The Park at Middletown - Louisville, Kentucky )
This project consisted of the development of concepts, master plan and final design
plans for an FEC that includes a 750 foot grand-prix concession go-kart track, free
form bumper boat pond, kiddie bumper boat pond, battery powered kiddie car track,
an 18 hole adventure, handicap accessible miniature golf course and a 4,000 square
foot arcade and point of sales building. Plans also provided for a future rookie
track. During the course of construction, we provided construction consultation
via telephone.
Thunder Road Two - Sherwood, Arkansas
Project consisted of concept development and final design for a 1,000 foot grand-prix
road course concession go-kart track (reversible). Track constructed on side of
hill with a seven-foot elevation difference.
Malibu Speed Zone - Dallas, Texas
This new facility is directed primarily at the adult market. The project consisted
of the development and design of two completely new types of concession go-kart tracks;
the first one a 510 foot "Slick Trax" (reversible) "adult" slick road course with
a dual pit and the second, a pair of 1,600 foot "Grand-Prix" side by side single
car tracks. Also included is a 1,050 foot "Turbo Track" (reversible) grand-prix
road course concession go-kart track with a triple pit to accommodate daytime family
go-karting and evening dual -pit adult go-karting. Site also has a 6-lane "Top Eliminator"
drag strip by others.
Malibu Speed Zone - Puente Hills, California
This new facility is directed primarily at the adult market. The project consisted
of development and design of two completely new types of concession go-kart tracks;
the first one a 480 foot "Slick Trax" (reversible) "adult" slick road course with
a dual pit and the second a pair of 1,470 foot "Grand-Prix" side by side single car
tracks. Also included is a 1,000 foot "Turbo Track" (reversible) grand-prix road
course concession go-kart track with a triple pit to accommodate daytime family go-karting
and evening adult go-karting. The site also has a 6-lane "Top Eliminator" drag strip
by others.
Malibu Speed Zone - Kennesaw, Georgia
This redesigned and reconstructed facility is directed primarily at the adult market.
The project consists of the development and design of a 480 foot "Slick Trax" (reversible)
"adult" concession go-kart track with a dual pit and revision of an existing 1100
foot road course concession go-kart track to have a varying profile and a triple
pit to accommodate daytime family go-karting and evening adult go-karting. The site
also contains a 6-lane "Top Eliminator" drag strip by others.
Tussey Mountain - Boalsburg, Pennsylvania
Project consisted of a 750 foot grand-prix road course concession go-kart track.
Future proposed improvements include a batting cage and miniature golf facilities.
Amazon Station - Janesville, Wisconsin
Project included an 800 foot grand-prix road course concession go-kart track, miniature
golf course (by others), arcade building, parking facilities and future bumper boat
pond and indoor soccer building. Firm performed concept development, master planning,
design of go-kart track, bumper boat pond, parking lot, drainage system and related
work.
Time-Out Recreation Family Fun Center - Monroe, Michigan
Project consisted of an 800 foot grand-prix road course concession go-kart track,
a 470 foot high-banked oval concession go-kart track, 36 holes of handicap accessible
miniature golf, bumper boat pond, group events area, kiddie car track and related
attractions.
Leisure Land Family Fun Center - Evans, Colorado
Project consisted of a 1,000 foot grand-prix road course concession go-kart track,
a 200 foot rookie track, bumper boat pond (future), arcade/office building, parking
lot and related elements
Adventure Zone - Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio
Project consisted of an 18-hole country club style miniature golf course with nine
handicap accessible holes. Course features include two streams, two waterfalls and
a tunnel beneath the waterfalls. Course is a part of larger facility already in
place.
Golf Jackson - Jackson, Michigan
Project consisted of an 18-hole country club style miniature golf course with nine
handicap accessible holes. Course features include fairways averaging 400 square
feet, two streams, two waterfalls and a tunnel carrying the 12th fairway beneath
the waterfalls.
Des Plaines Golf Center – Des Plaines, Illinois
This project consisted of the development of a golf driving range that spanned a
floodway segment of the Des Plaines River and served a three level state of the art
driving range structure housing restaurants, shower rooms, pro-shop and offices (the
building was designed by a local architectural firm). Our services also included
site engineering, parking lot and highway entrance design, stormwater management
system and related work for the driving range. In addition our firm performed grading
and lake design for an attached nine hole executive golf course and putting green.
All-American Sports Park/NASCAR SpeedPark - Las Vegas, Nevada
This project consisted of the design of three unique tracks, two of which are for
concession go-kart operations: a 1,000 foot road course family track for two seat
NASCAR style karts and a 650 foot sprint challenge slick road course with dual pits
for full and junior sized single seat "open karts"; and a high performance road course
for a 5/8 scale "stock car" running against a time clock. The tracks are part of
a major entertainment complex located at the south end of the "Strip" on Las Vegas
Boulevard adjacent to the airport.
Pirate's Revenge - Winterhaven, Florida
Project consisted of an 18-hole miniature golf course containing a 20-foot skull
mountain/waterfall with tunnel, waterfalls, streams and pond, 9-hole handicap accessible,
plus a pirate ship containing portions of two course holes.
Frankie's Fun Park - Greenville, South Carolina
This project consisted of "The Shamrock", an 850 foot slick road course concession
go-kart track. The owners have since replicated this design at two other facilities.
Parfection Miniature Golf - Yorkville, Illinois
Project consisted of an 18-hole country club style miniature golf course, with all
holes handicap accessible. Course features include a stream and waterfall.
Fun Zone - Deep Creek Lake, Maryland
This project consisted of an 800 foot road course concession go-kart track, a 300
foot slick road course concession go-kart track and a 10 boat bumper boat pond.
Skateland - Queensbury, New York
Project consisted of a 700 foot road course concession go-kart track with bridge
and 400 feet of retaining wall.
C.J. Barrymore's - Clinton Township, Michigan )
This project consisted of an 800 foot slick road course concession go-kart track
and 10 boat bumper boat pond.
Putt-Putt Golf and Games - Mandeville, Louisiana
Project consisted of a 520 foot road course concession go-kart track operating electric
go-karts. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first application of electric
karts in an outdoor environment.
Sugar Grove Family Fun Center - Sugar Grove, Illinois
Project consisted of a 920 foot grand-prix family road course concession go-kart
track, 500 foot slick road course adult slick road course concession go-kart track,
bumper boat pond, 18-hole handicap accessible miniature golf course, arcade building,
WaterWars and related attractions. The go-kart tracks share a common pit structure.
Angola Golf Center - Angola, Indiana
Project consisted of a second 18-hole handicap accessible miniature golf course being
added to an existing miniature golf course facility.
Rounding Third - Elk Ridge, Maryland
Project consists of an 800 foot road course concession go-kart track. The site also
contains an indoor FEC building and a themed miniature golf course.
Carlisle Sports Emporium - Carlisle Pennsylvania
Project consists of a 650 foot slick road course concession go-kart track with pit
area paired with future relocated pit area on adjacent older track.
Sullivan Prairie Miniature Golf Course - Sullivan Illinois
Project consists of an 18-hole miniature golf course, parking lot and future go-kart
track.
Overlook Golf - Poughkeepsie, New York
This project consists of an 850 foot road course concession go-kart track.
Stratford Speedway - Stratford Connecticut
This project consisted of developing final plans for a new facility, which included
a 550 foot concession road course family track, arcade/office/maintenance building
and parking lot.
Sports-of-all-Sorts - Florence Kentucky
This project consisted of a 150 foot "rookie track" addition to an existing FEC.
Family First Sports Park - Erie Pennsylvania
This project consisted of developing a master plan for an FEC, which was added to
a major sports complex. It included developing final design and construction documents
for an 850 foot family road course concession go-kart track and a 14-boat bumper
boat pond, plus provisions for miniature golf and batting cage by others.
White Lake Speedway - Tamworth New Hampshire
This project consisted of developing a master plan concept for a new FEC that includes
an 890 foot family concession go-kart track, WaterWars, arcade/office building and
a future 18-hole miniature golf course.
The Springz Entertainment Center - Ocala, Florida
This project consisted of a 580 foot indoor battery powered concession go-kart track
constructed on the second floor of a new building planned as a teenage entertainment
center.
Paradise Park - Lee's Summit Missouri
This project consists of a 900 foot family road course concession go-kart track added
to an existing and expanding family entertainment center.
C. J. Barrymore's - Hall Township Michigan
This project consists of the design of a base foundation and pedestrian pad for a
"Robo-Coaster" attraction to meet State of Michigan requirements.
Miniature Golf Course - North Webster Indiana
This project consists of an 18-hole handicap accessible "players" miniature golf
course.
Cross Lakes Miniature Golf Course - Cross Lakes Minnesota
This project consists of an 18-hole handicap accessible "players" miniature golf
course.
America’s Action Territory – Bristol, Wisconsin
Project consisted of 8-boat bumper boat pond for battery powered bumper boats, complete
with water treatment system.
Papio Fun Park – Papillion. Nebraska
This project consisted of the design of a new track barrier system to replace an
existing Driscoll Pipe barrier system on an existing concession go-kart track. Due
to severe site space constraints there was no room to install a conventional barrier
curb as the system back-up. Our staff designed special anchor brackets that permitted
the maximum clearance between barrier rails. In addition a custom pit entrance gate
and construction details for pavement patching were developed.
Volcano Falls - Loves Park, Illinois
This project consisted of the design of a 700 foot Tri-Oval concession go-kart track
to be added to an existing FEC.
Miniature Golf Course - Sunset Park Resort - Coulee City, Washington
Project consisted of the design of an 18-hole handicap accessible miniature golf
course located in a State Park. It includes an 18-hole miniature golf course constructed
on a hillside with plans for future streams, pools and waterfall and WaterWars.
Nauvoo Family Entertainment Center – Nauvoo, Illinois
Project consisted of a 900 foot concession go-kart track, 10,000 square foot indoor
FEC and future 18-hole miniature golf course, bumper boat pond and related attractions.
Grand Marais Golf-N-Fun - Grand Marais, Minnesota
This project consisted of an 18-hole handicap accessible miniature golf course complete
with sleeping bear cave, waterfall, beaver hut and dam and related elements.
Adventure Cove – Wilmington, Ohio
This project consists of an 18-hole handicapped accessible miniature golf course,
2000 square foot office arcade building, future 800 foot concession go-kart track,
bumper boat pond and 10,000 square foot year around indoor FEC.
